You already know that Microsoft has released Update Rollup 2 for System Center Operations Manager 2012 Service Pack 1 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2802159).
Kevin Hollman (MSFT) has published a post to apply Update Rollup 2 (UR2) to OpsMgr 2012 SP1 - you can found his post here.
Perhaps did you already see that Update Rollup 2 does not include update for Gateways. However, Gateways is storing binaries for the client push installation and since the Update Rollup 2 is not applied on Gateways, client sources are not updated !
You'll also have to manually copy the binaries from a Management Server that is up-to-date (In UR2 also).
