Operations Manager 2012 included a new style of Dashboard view which uses widgets. This new dashboard functionality is extremely impressive and provides a very flexible framework which can be used to add a variety of widgets and to put them into a variety of different configurations.
In Operations Manager 2007 we had another "Dashboard view” which provided a way to put multiple views onto a single dashboard view. There is no option in the Operations Manager console to create a new OpsMgr 2007 R2 style dashboard view.
Cameron Fuller provide us a sealed OpsMgr 2007 R2 style dashboard management pack which includes each of the different variations available within the OpsMgr 2007 R2 style layouts. This make easier the way to re-use these 2007 R2 style dashboard by copying them from this management pack into other folders in the OpsMgr console.
